Hollywood Hills
This residential renovation and addition reconfigures a Spanish-style home in the Hollywood Hills, improving its street presence and resolving a series of prior renovations that had darkened and fragmented the interior. A new elliptical stair organizes the house vertically, connecting street-level living spaces to a recreation room, pool, and pavilion below. Private bedroom suites are inserted between levels to provide separation and privacy, while maintaining continuity throughout the home. Layered period-inspired details and landscape elements unify the project, resulting in a cohesive residence that responds to its dramatic hillside setting and sweeping city views.
