Cliffside
Point Dume, Malibu
Overlooking the Pacific from Point Dume, the project transforms the house into a highly detailed retreat shaped by ocean views, gardens, and natural light. Inspired by Japanese architecture, the design pairs traditional mortise and tenon craftsmanship with sliding glass walls which extend across the living spaces and which blur the line between interior and exterior. The result is a home that feels open, serene, and deeply connected to its coastal landscape.
