Set along a steep Malibu hillside overlooking the Pacific, the project is conceived as a collection of interrelated volumes oriented to the natural geometry of the site. The single-story residence follows the contours of the landscape, capturing sweeping views from Palos Verdes to the Malibu pier while maintaining a strong connection to its surroundings. Traditional Spanish colonial forms, proportions, and handcrafted details shape the character of the house to create a residence that feels it has been part of the hillside for generations.
